Calling all barbell beasts – CrossFitters and Lifters alike – Join us for part two of KOP Barbell’s winter weightlifting spectacular, The Cold Iron Liftoff!
This is a chance to throw around some weights and test out your maxes in the snatch, clean & jerk, back squat, and deadlift.
Prizes will be given to the top male and female in each lift as well as a prize pack for our overall lifter of the day (min 3 events to qualify for overall, all prizes calculated by sinclair).

Each lifter will be given 10 minutes to warm up. The clock will then start and the lifter will have 35 minutes to reach a one rep max in the designated lift. The lifter will declare the weight for their judge prior to the lift, and the judge will record the weight if the lift is made. The official schedule for each lift time will be released prior to the event.
All lifts must be taken from the floor , no hang will be accepted. The lift must be completed under control for the rep to count. In the deadlift, the lifter must stand up fully (with an open hip and shoulders behind the bar) at the top of the lift, but can drop the barbell from the top once the lift is complete. The squat must be done to full depth (below parallel). Otherwise – if it counts in CrossFit, it counts at the LiftOff.
No refunds will be granted. Registration transfers may be granted at the discretion of the meet director.
