Bit of an odd one but I’m looking at a used Lincoln MKX and honestly I’m struggling to find anyone who knows these cars well enough to check one over properly. They’re not exactly common here compared to the German stuff, and the few garages I’ve rung sounded like they’d just give it a generic once over and hope for the best. My brother reckons I should find a Quality Lincoln pre purchase inspection near Al Wasl before I commit, since the car’s over there and he’s heard the electrics can be temperamental on these. I’m not trying to be dramatic but I’d rather not buy something nobody local can actually diagnose if it starts acting up. Has anyone owned a Lincoln here and found a workshop that genuinely understands them, or am I setting myself up for a headache by going for something this uncommon?
