One thing I love about football is seeing people from all backgrounds play together—doesn’t matter where you’re from, you’re just part of the team. At my college, we had players from all over, and it actually made us stronger. Do you think diversity really makes a team better, or is that just what people say?

It definitely does make a difference. There’s a cool article that touches on how diverse football teams are leading to more success and better team spirit— https://footballexpress.in/breaking-indias-cricket-monopoly-diversifying-sports-investment/. I played on a team with people from different states and everyone brought something unique, whether it was a new skill or a fresh way of seeing the game. Even off the field, you learn so much about each other’s cultures. The team just feels more complete when there’s a mix of backgrounds.
