After a full day of competition, the last thing I want to do is fight with tent poles. I’ve started using a portable inflatable family tent as my recovery zone at the finish line. The Coody Dome offers 183 square feet of space, allowing me to set up a cot and a cooling area with plenty of room to spare. The inflation process is essentially “set and forget” and takes about 10 minutes. It’s a very well-ventilated structure with huge windows, which is a massive help for cooling down in the heat. It feels more like a private lounge than a tent, and the build quality is definitely higher than the standard gear you see at most race venues.
