Just wanted to ask people here who actually use their cars every single day around Dubai, do you honestly think paint protection film makes a big difference after a year or two? I’ve been driving my sedan for almost eight months now and the front area already has tiny chips that are starting to annoy me every time I wash the car. At first I ignored it because I thought small marks are normal, but now I’m noticing them more and more under sunlight. A colleague at work recently got PPF done on his SUV and he keeps saying I should’ve done it from day one, especially with all the highway driving and dust here. The thing confusing me is the huge difference in prices between places. Some garages quote reasonable numbers while others charge almost the same as a small repaint job. I started reading random discussions online and ended up finding a Paint Protection Film Dubai Expert Center website while comparing options, but I still can’t tell what actually matters when choosing a shop. Is it the film brand, the installer experience, or just marketing hype? Another thing I’m curious about is whether the film stays invisible after some time because I’m very picky about how my car looks. I don’t want edges lifting or weird discoloration after one summer. My cousin told me ceramic coating alone is enough, but another friend said coating only helps with cleaning and not stone chips. Honestly it’s becoming one of those decisions where every person gives completely different advice. Would appreciate hearing from people who installed it a while ago and whether they felt happy about spending the money later on.
