lunarSpark27ParticipantI’ll be honest, I usually just tell the garage to do an oil change and ignore their suggestions about other stuff. But my car has been feeling a bit sluggish lately and a friend suggested the air filter might be clogged, especially with all the dust here. I found an article online that backed this up with some solid preventive auto care recommendations. It explained how a dirty filter can hurt fuel efficiency and engine performance without you even realizing it. It also covered other simple things like checking belts and hoses for cracks from the heat. I’m going to pay more attention to these smaller items from now on. What minor maintenance tasks do you think are most often overlooked by drivers?
