    Here’s what I didn’t realize the first time I hired a game development company in USA: you need clear documentation. Every detail—assets, code ownership, delivery timelines—should be written down. I assumed we were on the same page, but ended up with scope creep, missing features, and tons of back-and-forth. A solid contract and shared project tracker could’ve saved me weeks. Lesson learned.
