Lift for Autism 2027 is a FUNDRAISER event that is sanctioned by United States Strongman. This is a great show to get experience in or if you just wish to come out, have fun and give back to the community. Â This show is also a qualifier for USS Nationals 2027 right here in Atlantic City NJ in June 2027!!!

Weigh-Ins (no exceptions):
Friday 4/23/27: 12-4pm
Saturday 4/24/27: 8-9am
Athlete Meeting:Â 9am (Mandatory for all athletes)
Contest Time:Â 9:30am
Spectator fee: $15 at the door

Events:
1) Axle Press for Reps
- Athlete will have 60s to clean and press the implement for as many reps as they can. You must clean and press every rep from the floor
- Judge will give down command when knees are locked, hips are through, elbows are locked and head is through
- If an athlete is split jerking, they must return their feet to a neutral position prior to receiving the down command
- A no rep will be given for tree topping or dropping before getting down command
- Belts with metal parts MUST be turned backwards to avoid damage to the implement
- This event is scored via reps
- Allowed:Â chalk, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, belts, knee sleeves, grip shirts, soft belt + regular belt
- Not allowed: tacky, straps, tree topping (dropping from overhead)
2) Mammoth Bar Deadlift for Reps
- Athlete will have 60s to deadlift the mammoth bar for as many reps as they can
- Athlete can strap in prior to beginning the lift
- The judge will give a down command once the athlete stands fully upright with knees locked, hips through and shoulders back. There will also be an up command
- A no rep will be given for bouncing or if the athlete begins to descend prior to receiving the down command
- This event is scored via reps
- Allowed: chalk, straps, knee & elbow sleeves, soft or hard belts
- Not Allowed:Â tacky, deadlift suits
3) Yoke Walk, 50 feet down and back
- Athlete will have 60s to complete the full 100 feet of the event
- Athlete may begin under the yoke but cannot lift until start command is given
- Once the start command is given, the athlete must stand with the yoke across their back and walk 50 feet to the first drop point
- A down command will be given, at which point the athlete must put down the yoke, turn around underneath the yoke, repick the yoke and walk back 50 feet to the starting line
- Once the front feet of the yoke cross the starting line, a down command will be given and your time will be taken
- There will be unlimited drops for this event
- A 5 second penalty will be given for each “slide” seen by the judge
- Allowed: chalk, wraps, grip shirts, knee sleeves, soft or hard belts
- Not Allowed:Â tacky, straps
4) Husafell Carry for Max Distance
- Athlete will have 60s to carry a husafell for a maximum distance
- Athlete may begin with hands on top of the husafell
- Once the start command is given, the athlete must stand with the husafell carried in front of them and begin to walk
- The course the athlete will be taking will be a “square” shape with 90 degree left turns every 25 feet
- Cones will be placed at each of the corners for the athlete to walk around
- The event will take place in a grass field
- Athlete’s distance will be taken once they drop the implement, or their 60 seconds has come to an end
- Allowed: chalk, wraps, grip shirts, knee sleeves, soft or hard belts
- Not Allowed:Â tacky, straps
5) Water Event
*This will be the final event for everyone so you can change after and aren't wet for subsequent events.Â

Yes this is making its return for a second year!!There will only be weight classes if we have a huge variance in ages and need to separate. Please reach out to me if you wish to sign your child up as there is no kids class option on Iron Podium. Info for the event is below:
