Etc.
Intermediate - This division is for the competitive weekday warriors who RX most workouts in their gym with maybe a few holes in their game. Athletes aspiring to compete for the Top 5 in the Intermediate division are expected to have performed all workouts in the 2023 Open as prescribed, however, may not be as proficient as they hope or still working on a few skills.
One or Both members of the team should have the ability to complete the following movements/weights in a workout setting, however, higher-skill moves will only be required by one athlete.

Teams competing in the Scaled Division should have one or both members of the team with the ability to complete the following movements/weights in a workout setting.
Note these are not 1 Rep Max numbers, but skills/weights associated with the athlete repeating them in a workout. A 1 Rep Max may be necessary for any barbell movement.
- Pull-ups
- Thrusters and Overhead Squats at 75/45
- Deadlifts at 205/135
- Clean and Jerks at 95/65

Remember all of the Division Standards above are just generalizations of what the athlete should have in the toolbox to be able to compete in a particular division. As with all workouts, just having the skill is the first step…how efficiently and how quickly a team can complete these movements will dictate how successful the team can be.

Simply put, our goal is to have a positive impact on every person we get to interact with. We're just lucky one of the tools we get to use is fitness + a friendly smile. We started training friends at a park in Chicago during the fall of 2011 with the humble goal of helping our friends improve their overall health. A group of 3 quickly turned into 15. I was training clients for several hours in the morning, going to work for the entire day then training clients in the evening. Flash forward a year, and my wife, Britni, and I, made the amazing decision to move to Kansas City to be closer to family. At the time I was working for Accenture as an IT consultant, allowing me to work from home. Upon arriving in KC, I began training my mother in-law and her 3 friends in their garage. Simultaneously, we purchased and renovated a house in Prairie Village, which would be become our ‘second location’ in December of 2012. The small group grew over time and after a year in the garage & 26 amazing people later, we expanded to a 2,400 sq/ft location on 75th and Metcalf. It was a little rough around the edges, but a perfect home for a year while we slowly grew & prepared to move to our permanent Prairie Village location, the former PV Post Office building. We haven’t forgotten where we came from or what our purpose is – To create a positive impact on all communities we get to work with. We are especially lucky to have started with such a great group of people in the garage and we continue to extend that network with each amazing person we add. We are humbled by the positive impact we’re able to create and would love to have the opportunity to do the same for you.
