Keg Overhead Press

  • Athlete must clean and press for each rep.
  • Athlete must lock out at top and will be given a down command by judge.
  • 60 seconds to get as many reps as possible.
  • Items Allowed: Chalk, wrist wraps and belts are permitted.
  • Items Not Allowed: Tacky, Tacky towel, Grip Shirts

Yoke Squat 

  • Athlete has 60s to complete as many reps as possible.
  • Athlete can start under implement.
  • A good rep is when implement is squatted to parallel completely
  • Athlete will be given a up command.
  • Height will be taken AT weigh-ins (height is at chest or collar bone wherever is more comfortable)
  • Allowed: Chalk, Wraps, Sleeves, Belts, Grip Shirts
  • Not Allowed: Tacky, Tacky towel,SC/OSG Grip Shirts

5 LEVER LADDER DEADLIFT

  • Athletes will start with their hands on a straight bar handle attached to the lever deadlift implement in the first position (farthest from the base).
  • When the judge gives the "LIFT" command, athletes will have :60 seconds to lift and complete all five positions of the lever ladder deadlifts.
  • Athletes will have one handle and be required to attach and detach it at each position.
  • Time will stop once the athlete has locked out the final rep of the fifth position of the implement.
  • Split times will be taken after the first two reps, for positions three, four and five on the implement.
  • Wrist straps are NOT ALLOWED for this event.
  • Equipment allowed: Knee/elbow sleeves, chalk (powder or liquid), wrist wraps, belt.
  • Equipment NOT allowed:  wrist straps, deadlift suits/briefs, tacky (not from a jar, spray can or towel).

Thor’s Hammer Front Hold

  • Athletes will position themselves with their back against a wall with their butt and shoulders in contact with the wall.
  • Once the athlete's arms are fully extended and in position, the judge will start the time and athletes will hold the hammer for as long as possible.
  • If the athletes butt and/or shoulders come off the wall at any time, the clock will stop.
  • If the athlete drops the hammer, the clock will stop.
  • Equipment allowed: Chalk (powder or liquid), wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, belts.
  • Equipment NOT allowed: Tacky (not from a jar, spray can or towel), knee/elbow sleeves, knee/elbow wraps, belt.

Frame Walk

  • Max distance frame carry with a turn at 50 feet.
  • Athlete will turn around a corner with the implement still in the hand.
  • Unlimited drops allowed, but no dragging the implement.
  • 60 second time limit, athletes will be scored on distance.
  • Allowed: Chalk, belt, wrist wraps
  • Not allowed: Straps
