THIS CONTEST IS DESIGNED FOR ATHLETES NEW TO THE SPORT. THIS IS ONLY FOR BEGINNERS. IF YOU COMPETED IN A OPEN CLASSES AT ANY OTHER CONTEST NO MATTER THE ORGANIZATION, THIS CONTEST IS NOT FOR YOU.Â
Weigh-ins are at The Zoo, 270 Loudon RD. Concord, NH on April 18th from 5-7 or the morning of April 19th, 2025
Awards for 1st place in each class and a qualification for 2025 Nationals
Spectator Fee of $5 For Adults', Kids are free
Event Rules: (NO TACKY, NO DEADLIFT SUITES or SQUAT SUITES)
- Log Clean and Press Medley - Clean and Press Log once, wait for down command, repeating for as many total reps as you can in 60 sec. There is a down command. Feet together and arms locked for the rep to count. Equipment can be recleaned if needed. NO LIFTING STRAPS
- Sandbag Toss for Distance - Athletes will have 3 attempts for max distance. Each attempt will be measured then added together for a total.  You have to toss from behind the line marked. You can cross the line during your toss as long as the sandbag has been released. No more then 20 sec per attempt.
- Lastman Standing Mammoth Bar Deadlift - Standard deadlift pick. Athletes will start with their stated opening weight. Men will have 30lb jumps and females will have 20lb jumps. NO SKIPPING WEIGHTS. Each round has to be attempted during the process till only one is left. 30 sec time limits for each attempt. Time starts when previous Athlete has left the Deadlift box. STRAPS Allowed. Wait for Down Command.
- Yoke Walk 50' DOWN / 50' BACK -Â On the command go, Athletes will pick the yoke, run 50' down to a drop point, turn around and repick the yoke and run 50' back to the start line. Fastest time in 60 sec. Distance will be taken for anyone that doesn't complete the 100'
- Sandbag to Shoulder - Athletes will have 60 sec to shoulder the sandbag for as many reps as possible. Opposite arm has to be extended and the judge has to give a down command for rep to count.
