EVENTS:

AXLE CLEAN & PRESS AWAY: Athletes will have 60seconds from when the judge says “Go” to clean the axle bar 1 time and press as many reps over head as possible. Athlete may start with hands on the axle. Cycling of reps is permitted. Each rep must start below the chin. Athlete will receive down command when the bar is overhead with elbows and knees locked out, head through and feet together. DROPS: Athlete may have unlimited drops of the axle before reaching the rack position. Once the bar reaches rack position and the axle is dropped no more reps will be scored.  Failure to complete a rep will result in a zero. No points for cleans. Athlete must make effort to control axle when dropped. Tree topping will result in no rep. If the bar falls behind the athlete the rep will not be scored. Belt cleans allowed. No resting of the bar on your head. If athlete rests bar on head the athlete will be asked to return to rack position before rep is counted. 

Equipment allowed: Wrist Wraps, Elbow & Knee sleeves, soft and or hard belt, chalk.

Equipment not allowed: Gloves, Grip Shirts, Grip Shorts, Elbow and Knee wraps, Any and all straps, Suits, Bare feet, No shirt. Anything sticky. 
 

MAX 13INCH AXLE DEADLIFT: Athletes will have 30seconds once the judge says “Go” to  complete a rep and receive a down command. Athlete may start with hands on the axle. Athlete will receive down command when athlete has lifted the bar with shoulders back, with hips and knees locked out. Athlete must make effort to control the bar to the ground once down call is given. Dropping the bar from lock out position will result in no rep. Wessels Rules apply. 3 attempts to find a max. Fail an attempt and Athlete is eliminated. 
 

Equipment allowed: Figure 8 Straps, Standard Straps, Wrist wraps, Soft and or hard belt, elbow and knee sleeves, Briefs, chalk.

Equipment not allowed: Gloves, Straps with hooks, Suits, Elbow and Knee wraps, Bare feet, Grip Shirt, Grip Shorts, No shirt, Anything sticky. 
 

SANDBAG CARRY & LOAD: Athlete will start behind the first bag with hands off implement. When the judge says ”GO” time will start and athlete will pick up the lightest bag and carry it 30ft and load over a yoke. Athlete will then return to the start and pick up the second bag and carry it 30ft and load it over a yoke. Time will stop when second bag touches the ground after going over the yoke. Athlete will only get credit for bags loaded. If Athlete fails to load second bag, times will be scored for first bag loaded. If Athlete is unable to load a bag a zero will be given. Fastest time to load 2 bags wins.  Sandbags must be carried in front position. No shouldering of bags. Unlimited drops.

Equipment allowed: Wrist wraps, Elbow and Knee Sleeves, Soft and or Hard belt, briefs, Chalk. 
 

Equipment not allowed: Gloves, All straps, Grip shirts, Grip Shorts, Suits, Bare feet, No shirt. Anything sticky. 

 

FARMERS HOLD FOR TIME: Time starts after Judge says “Go” and Athlete has lifted the handles and reached the locked out position. Time stops when either implement touches the ground. Weight that is label is PER EACH HAND.

Equipment allowed: Wrist wraps, Elbow and Knee Sleeves, Soft and or Hard belt, Briefs, Chalk.

Equipment not allowed: Gloves, All Straps, Grip shirts, Grip shorts, Suits, Bare feet, No shirt, Anything sticky.

 

SANDBAG TO SHOULDER: Athlete will have 60 seconds from the time the judge says “Go” to shoulder as many reps with the sandbag as possible. Athlete will start with hands off the bag. Athlete will receive the down command once the sandbag is on top of the shoulder, Athlete is standing straight up, knees and hips locked out, with opposite hand extended all the way out to the side. Hand down athlete will not receive credit for rep. Athlete will not be given down call if sandbag rests on the chest. If sandbag falls behind the Athlete no rep will be scored. 

Equipment allowed: Wrist wraps, Elbow and Knee Sleeves, Soft and or hard belt, Briefs, chalk.

Equipment not allowed: Gloves, All straps, Grip shirts, Grip shorts, Suits, Bare feet, No shirt, Anything sticky.

Weight Class Change/ Combining of classes.

Weight Classes are not finalized until after weigh-ins. Athlete‘s may change weight class if they so choose until that point. 

Any sub-class with atleast 3 Athletes will not be combined. If classes are combined Athlete may still sign up for the sub-class, if they finish in the Top 3, at Nationals.
 

Cut off date for Comp Tee is Aug 9th 2025.
