EVENT 1

TRUMP AXLE CLEAN AND PRESS

Athlete will start in front of 2 bars, hands off. On start, athlete will choose between a heavier and lighter axle to clean and press for reps. Any rep on the heavier axle beats any amount of reps on the lighter axle. The axle must start from the ground, and athlete must wait for down command for rep to count. NO TREE TOPPING, RESTING ON HEAD, Etc. Please follow bar down to ground with as much control as possible. Athlete may move to heavier axle after lighter axle, but once a single rep is done with the heavier bar, all reps on the lighter bar no longer count. Athlete may not move down from heavy to lighter bar after an attempt on the heavier bar. Most reps in 60s wins. Equipment allowed: 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, grip shirt, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves. Equipment NOT allowed: Straps, hooks, anything that aids grip besides chalk, ANYTHING TACKY RELATED. NO BELT CLEANS.

 

EVENT 2

FARMERS CARRY

Athlete will start with hands on farmers handles, then on start have 60s to carry down 25', drop, turn, and carry back 25', as fast as possible. If all 25' is not completed, it will count as a zero; no distance will be taken. Unlimited drops allowed. Judge will tell you when the front of the farmers has crossed the line to drop and turn. Equipment allowed: 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt,  wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves. Equipment NOT allowed: ANYTHING TACKY/TACKY RELATED, straps, hooks, grips, etc. No hook grip. 

 

EVENT 3

DEADLIFT FOR REPS

Athlete will start strapped in, when given start command will have to 60s to complete as many reps as possible. S successful rep will result in a down command. Must receive Down command for rep to count. athlete must wait for up command to start next rep. Equipment allowed: 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, regular straps/ figure 8s, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves. Equipment NOT allowed: hooks, versa grips, suits, brief, NO TACKY OR ANYTHING TACKY RELATED. We will be using a Cerberus power bar. 

 

EVENT 4

SANDBAG OVER BAR

Athlete will start with hands on yoke, on start command have 60s to load sandbag over bar as many times as possible. Bar height - women: 44”, men: 48.” Athlete may go around OR under the yoke in between reps. Equipment allowed: 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, grip shirt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves. Equipment NOT allowed: NO TACKY OR ANYTHING TACKY RELATED. 

 

 

EVENT 5

SANDBAG SCRIMMAGE

Athlete will start behind sandbag, on start command have 60s to lap the sandbag, drop it, shoulder it, drop it, then pick and carry it down and back 25’ as fast as possible. If athlete doesn’t finish, reps will be taken ( lapping is 1 rep, shouldering is 2 reps), time will be taken if athlete finishes. Judge will give down command for the lap and shoulder, and a judge will be at each line to make sure athlete crosses. Equipment allowed: 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, grip shirt, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves. Equipment NOT allowed: NO TACKY OR ANYTHING TACKY RELATED.
