I welcome you all to join us for the debut of the MILLERSTOWN FIRE GAMES!

A day full of fun, food, music, and most importantly strong people and HEAVY WEIGHT! 

Come challenge yourself and your friends who lie about how strong they are. ( Only the liars will back down from the challenge) 

EVENTS:

OVERHEAD AXLE PRESS WITH CHAINS:

Competitor will unrack Axle bar and  wait for the initial "PRESS" command from the head judge once stabilized. At the top of every rep competitor will wait for a "DOWN" command once weight is fully locked out overhead.  Time starts when press command is given. Most reps performed  in 60 seconds wins. Women could encounter up to 50lbs of chain resistance depending on how much chain is lifted. Men could encounter up to 100lbs of chain resistance depending on how much chain is lifted.

(Equipment allowed: wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, chalk )

(Equipment not allowed: tacky)

FIRE HOSE LOADING LADDER:

8 rolls of firehose will be loaded onto platforms as fast as possible. Platforms will be pallet stacks. Current stacks are 6,8,10,12,12,10,8,6 but we will make sure you can reach the top platform on show day and make adjustments if necessary

Fastest completion time wins.

(Equipment not allowed: tacky) 

AXE HOLD:

Competitor will be placed with their back against the wall of a firetruck. Event staff will place your arms to your side at parallel starting level. Once the head judge gives the "START" command the staff will step away and time will start. Time will stop once your arms drop below parallel. Women will hold the axe at the top of the handle and men will hold the axe at the middle of the handle to increase difficulty.

HOSE LOADING AND CART MEDLEY.

3 rolls of hose will be placed 25 feet from an industrial push cart. Competitors will load each hose individually. Once final hose is loaded onto cart the cart will be pushed back to the starting line. If competitor is unable to complete the full medley then the number of hoses loaded and/or distance covered will be your score.

FIRETRUCK PULL. (Max distance in 60 seconds)

It's the main event for a reason. Competitors will be placed into a harness. There will be a rope used for support and momentum however it is not mandatory to use it. Head judge will give you the start command. Maximum distance covered in 60 seconds will be your score.

65$ admission fee (includes shirt and photographer)

Please provide your shirt size at sign up. Extra shirts will be available at venue.
