2025 USA Powerlifting Arkansas State Championships (AR-2025-01)

I. Description:

The 2025 USAPL Arkansas State Championships is open to all USAPL members in Arkansas and the surrounding states.

II. Requirements:

- Must have a non-expired USAPL membership on meet date (2024 or 2025). If you need to get/renew your USAPL membership, you can still register for the meet now, and purchase the membership on November 1st so that it covers 2025 as well.

- For placing in your division & weight class, you must be an Arkansas residents, meaning the address shown on your USAPL membership card must be an AR address. You can still compete if you're from out-of-state, see Out-of-state section below.

- All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.

- No qualifying total needed for this meet.

III. General info:

When: January 25th, 2025

Where: Russellville High School, Arkansas. 2203 S Knoxville Ave, Russellville, AR 72802 - Athletic building

This will be a one-platform, one-day meet with two sessions total.

This meet can be used to:

- Qualify for any Nationals including 2025 Raw Nationals (since this is State Chamionships).

- Break American Records. Record database

IV. Registration Timeline (meet shirt not included):

Early Bird Registration: $105 (Deadline - September 30)

Regular Registration: $130 (October 1 - December 13)

Late Registration: $155 (December 14 - January 10)

Shirt price listed as optional.

V. Out-of-state (non-Arkansas resident)

Since this is the Arkansas State Championships, Out-of-State lifters are welcomed but will be assigned under Guest Lifter Division. See the screenshot from USAPL Rulebook below for more info:

* Guest lifters are not eligible for awards within age divisions.

* Guest lifters may set state and American records and may earn a qualifying total for a national meet.

* Guest lifters are subject to all normal rules of competition and must meet the same qualifying criteria to enter the meet.

* We will have awards for Guest Lifters based on DOTS points.

(If you are currently residing in Arkansas but still have an out-of-state address on your USAPL card, if you want, you can change it to your AR address on the USAPL Membership website, to avoid competing as a Guest Lifter. Once changed, please let us know)

VI. Pre-meet Timeline:

Friday 1/10 @ 11:59pm - Weight Class (& division) declarations due. Failure to make your weight class will place you as a guest lifter.
Friday 1/10 @ 11:59pm - Deadline to purchase meet shirt. We will have a limited amount for sale at the meet as well.
Early Equipment Check (for all sessions): Friday 1/24 @ 6:30pm to 7:30pm @ Russellville High School, Arkansas. 2203 S Knoxville Ave, Russellville, AR 72802 - Athletic building

VII. Tentative Session breakdowns:

Session 1: (Saturday)

Weigh-ins 7-8:30am

Lifting 9am to ~1pm

All Women & Lightweight Men (up to 75kg)

Session 2: (Saturday)

EQ check 1:00 to 2:30pm

Weigh-ins 1:30 to 3pm

Lifting 3:30 to ~7:30pm

Men 82.5kg and above

Changes after signing up:

For any meet change request including weight class, division, team name, etc.. Any division(s) add or changes or add won’t be accepted within 2 weeks out from the date of the meet.
