CrossFit Lafayette Grid Race

Welcome to a IN HOUSE test of strength, endurance, and agility at CrossFit Lafayette! Join us for an adrenaline-pumping Grid Race. This in-person event will have you sprinting, lifting, and conquering obstacles like never before. Whether you're a seasoned CrossFit athlete or a newcomer looking for a fun challenge, this race is for you. Don't miss out on the opportunity to showcase your skills and compete against fellow fitness gym members.

Grid Race:

Coed Pair vs Coed Pair (teams are drawn)

Tournament Style: Single Elimination

Check in: 7:30-8:00am

Race briefing: 8:00am

4 Grid Style Races:

Partner Foward: DB burpee G2O, Box Get Over

*each partner completes reps of each movement before crossing the finish line

Mirror: F/ Hang Clean(100) , M/Thruster (100)

*female will complete reps of hang cleans then hand off barbell to male and make will complete reps of thrusters before running to the finish line.

Ringer 1: Burpee to target

*1 partner will complete reps of burpee to target then complete 1 shuttle run before crossing the finish line

Ringer 2: WallBalls (20/14)

*1 partner will complete reps of wall balls then complete 1 shuttle run before crossing the finish line

Ladder: DL/G2O : 115/135/185/225

*each partner will attempt the ladder. Partner can choose to D.L. or C&J each weight and will receive points for each lift. If you fail a lift you cannot move forward and must cross finish line

*Tiebreak: SPRINT FINAL

-in result of a tie the commissioner will decidie in a sprint finish
