welcome to Cupids clash once again! This is by far my favorite comp to put on each year. This year we are hoping to avoid the super cold weather the snowmageddon in year one and the freak hail on year 2. this year we are hoping for great weather and ever better events. I have teamed up with the man himself Robert Spence who puts on so great competitions himself.
this year we bring you a plethora of event from around the world.
Little tid bit as well all athletes and spectators will be charged a 5 dollar entry fee all procedes are going to charity. Even me and spence are paying an entry fee. more details to come
Events are as follows…

event 1 The Revis sandbag press ladder

you will have 60 seconds to get each bag from ground to over head.
each back from lightest to heaviest.
all supportive gear allowed.

event 2 dinnie stone carry

This one will be spicy you will have a as much time as you would like but one drop and you are done course is 15m or 50ft if you carry the implement the entirety of the course you will be given a time plus 60ft. If you fail to complete the course you will be given a distance. furtherest or fastest wins.

event 3

The William Wallace sword hold

Scottish festival calls for a scottish claymore event

athletes will hold a sword out in front of them for a max time. Some will have just a sword some will have a sword with chains hanging from it For added weight. This is a max hold event. You will be handed the sword and upon taking the entire weight of the sword time will begin longest time held wins.

events 4

replica True Husafel carry

this is the replica husafel stone from stix and stones it is and insanely accurate stone to a real husafel in Iceland. this is a dream event for anyone who ever want to carry the real husafel in Iceland. Do you have what it takes to be fullsterker?

this will be a pick a weight and carry it as far as you can. there will be a Titan husafelll a 180lb musick metal works a 210 replica 310lb replica and a 409lb replica. This is a trump style pick and carry. example athlete A picks and Carrie’s the 180lb stone 200ft athlete B picks and carries 310lb stone 50ft the heavier stone beats the smaller stone. Unlimited drops allowed but only 60 seconds.

event 5

5th and final event to close out this comp is the highland single arm throw for max height. a single attempt at each and every height is allowed you will throw till you miss. If you miss the opening throw you ar out.
starting heights are tbd as are the weights for this. They will likely be as close to the real thing as we can get.
