Rules will be read at 9:15 on September 4th. Athletes can ask questions regarding the lifts at that time. No questions will be asked or entertained once the lifting starts.

Log Clean and Press: Competitors will get 60 seconds on the clock to get as many pressing reps as possible. One clean and press away. Once a competitor has the log at lockout wait for the "Down" command from the judges before bringing the log back to your chest. Please inform the judges and staff beforehand if you cannot fully lockout your elbows, during your turn will not count. The athlete with the most reps wins the event.

Max DL: Suits, chalk and straps are allowed. Hitching is allowed. No downward motions are allowed. Tacky and/ or tacky towels are not allowed and if you are caught using them on our deadlift bars you will be ejected out of the event. Each lifter will get 3 attempts to max out on the deadlift. Once you call a weight you cannot readjust your call, you also cannot go down in weight once you start your attempts. Lifters will be given a "Start" command, the rep will be counted as good when you are fully locked out and the judge gives you a "Down" command. The athlete with the heaviest deadlift wins the event.

Mystery Drag: Competitors will drag a heavy mystery item in one direction for 80 ft in the shortest amount of time possible. Â The drag will be over a parking lot surface. The athlete with the fastest drag wins the event. If nobody completes the drag the furthest drag will win the event.
Sandbag Toss: Competitors will have 3 sandbags lined up in front of them. The sandbags will be thrown over a 12 foot PVC obstacle. On the command "GO" grab whichever bag you wish to start with, approach the implement to toss over and backwards toss the bag over a 12 foot height. A judge will be standing next to the obstacle, as soon as the bag clears the athlete can move onto the next bag. Once all three bags clear the clock will stop. Fastest time wins the event.

Keg Load: Â Competitors will have a choice of two kegs to load. The heavier keg is worth two points, the lighter is worth one. On the command "Go" the competitor will have 60 seconds to load whichever keg over a bar. Men will load to a 52" height and women will load to a 48" height. Do NOT throw the keg at the person that will be receiving and returning the keg to you. The athlete with the highest amount of points wins the event.
