Check-in, registration and weigh-in will be between available between 4-8pm Friday 9/22 and Sat 9/23 between 730-845am. 

Athlete briefing starts at 9am and the 1st event no later than 930am.

Register by 9/9 to ensure t-shirt size.

Keg Clean and Press - Athlete will have to clean and press 3 progressively heavier kegs to lockout overhead as fast as possible. Time limit 60 seconds. All supportive gear allowed. No tacky.
 

Sandbag Throw Over Bar for Reps - Athlete will have to throw a sandbag over the bar as many times as possible in 60 seconds. The athlete will be able to throw the bag over the bar in both directions. Athlete responsible for retrieving the bag after every throw. The event will begin with the athlete’s hand on the upright of the bar and the bag will be placed 10' from the bar. The bag may be thrown from any position the athlete chooses. All supportive gear allowed.

Bottom’s-up Axle Bar Squat - Bar will be placed on safety arms at a height that will be determined by the athletes height. (See chart below.)  Each rep will start at the bottom of the squat and must be stood up to full extension/control. Athlete must wait for a down command. Athlete will fully return the bar to the squatter arms (similar to a yoke squat) and wait for up command before performing next rep. No touch hand go reps.

  • The height listed is the bottom of bar height above the floor.
  • Height will be measured with no shoes upon weigh-in.
  • Bar heights above the floor are as follows:

4'-11" - 5'-3" = 39"

5'-4" - 5'-8" = 40"

5'-9" - 6'-1" = 42"

6'-2" - 6'-5" = 44"

6'-6" - 6'-9" = 46"

 

Conan’s Wheel - Athlete will move the apparatus for a max distance in 60 seconds on a single lift. Athlete’s turn is over when he or she drops the apparatus or runs out of time. All supportive gear allowed including grip shirts. No tacky.

 

Max Stone Over Bar - Athlete will need to move 3 stones of increasing load over a bar (men 52” / women 48”) in :75sec. On the 3rd stone, the athlete will complete max reps in the remaining time - max reps wins. No tie breaker for 1st or 2nd stone.

 All supportive gear allowed. Tacky allowed.
