Sinister Showdown 4 is a qualifier for 2026 USS Nationals. Top 3 in open, masters and teens class and 1st place in the Novice classes will receive invites. Weigh ins will be the day before, location is TBD. If you need to weigh in day of, please shoot me a message or email so we can make arrangements. 

This year we will be doing subclasses. In the event that there are less than 5 competitors in one weight class, classes will be combined. For example, if there are 3 in the 242’s, they will be combined with 275s to make 1 HW class.  Same will apply for masters and novice. 

IN ORDER TO BE GUARANTEED A COMPETITION SHIRT YOU MUST BE REGISTERED NO LATER THAN 1 MONTH OUT. REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE 2 WEEKS OUT

Rules: Rules meeting is at 9:00 am, Lifting starts at 10:00 am 

Trump log:

There will be 2 logs, one heavier and one lighter. Reps on the heavier log will trump reps on the lighter log. On the Go command athletes will pick a log and do as many reps as possible. Every rep does not need to be cleaned and pressed. Scoring will be as follows:

-Rep with heavier log- 2 Pts

-Rep with lighter log- 1 Pt

60 second time limit, most points wins the event. 

Allowed: Grip shirt (No SC Grip Shirts) , 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves 

Max Mammoth bar:

Each attempt you will get 30 seconds. Athletes will get 3 attempts to lift the most weight possible. If you miss an attempt you’re out. Time will start after you are strapped in. Suits and or briefs are allowed but it must be one or the other, not a combination for the both. Women’s weight jumps will be 20lbs and men’s will be 30lbs. 

Allowed: 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, straps, suits or briefs

Sandbag Throw:

This will be like the stone toss from the Arnold pro a couple years back. Athletes will be given 3 attempts to throw the sandbag as far as possible. There will be a clear barrier, if you cross the barrier while attempting your throw the attempt will scratched like in shotput. 

Allowed: 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves

Husafell (Max distance):

Athletes can start with hands on the Husa. On the Go command athlete will pick up husa and go up and back until either you drop the husa or time runs out. Once you drop the husa time will stop. Furthest distance wins. 60 second time limit.

Allowed: 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves 

Anchor chain drag:

Gloves will be allowed for his event. On the Go command athletes will pick up the chain and drag it for 40 ft. If time runs out before the finish line is crossed, distance will be recorded.
