This is a United States Strongman 2023 National Qualifier contest.  Top 2 of each class will get national bids. Top 3 will receive trophies of some form.  The winner will get more, so win.

Event 1.) Log & Axle Clean and Press The log must be cleaned from the ground and pressed overhead, awaiting a down command. Once given the down command, put the log on the ground UNDER CONTROL and move to the axle.  The axle will be cleaned from the ground and pressed overhead, awaiting a down command.  Once given the down command, put the axle on the ground UNDER CONTROL.  Move back to the log and repeat back and forth for as many reps as possible in 75 seconds. Belt Clean, Strict press, push press, push jerk, split jerk allowed. Equipment allowed - Grip shirt, Lifting belt, Knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, knee wraps and chalk.  Not allowed- resting implement on head in attempt to press, no tacky no straps.

Event 2.) Farmers Carry. Implement will be picked up and walked/ran with for 50ft distance. This is a heavy-ish carry, as many drops allowed as needed to get the full implement across the line in 60 seconds.  Fastest time wins.  Equipment allowed - Belts, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, knee wraps, chalk.  Not allowed, complaining because it's heavy, tacky and straps.

Event 3.) Car Deadlift / Frame Deadlift.  All Women and only Men's Novice will use a frame to deadlift as many reps as possible in 60 seconds.  Open and Masters Men will deadlift a truck or car for as many reps as possible in 60 seconds.  Side handle grip. Expect HEAVY!!!  Equipment allowed - Belts, Deadlift suit, briefs, knee sleeves, knee wraps, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, straps, chalk.  Equipment Not allowed - anything motorized to assist with lift or tacky.

Event 4.) Merica Medley  3 implements will be carried for a distance of 50 ft.  The implements will be a sandbag, hussafelt, and atlas stone.  The sandbag will be carried 50 ft and put over a bar onto a crashpad.  Pick up the hussafelt and bring back 50ft placed on a crash pad.  Pick up an atlas stone and carry it 50 ft to be placed over a bar onto a crashpad to end your time.  Partial carrying of implements will not count, you will only be credited for complete carry and loads.  Equipment allowed - Grip shirt, Belts, knee sleeves, knee wraps, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, gloves, chalk, Tacky Towel.  Equipment not allowed, deadlift suits, briefs, TACKY.

Event 5.) Stone over Bar  The stone will need to be picked up and loaded over a bar of a certain height not yet determined onto a crashpad, (HEAVY AND HIGH) for as many reps as possible in 60 seconds.  Women "for now" will be using a concrete atlas stone.  Men will be using a Bartos Stone of Steel.  Equipment allowed - Grip shirt, Belts, knee sleeves, knee wraps, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, gloves, forearm tape, chalk, Tacky Towel.  Equipment not allowed - Deadlift suit, briefs, NO TACKY

If a tie-breaker is required for a podium finish, I have something in mind that's disgusting for your pleasure!
