Events 2, 3, and 4 will likely be going on simultaneously.

Event 5 will be the last event for everyone. 

We are excited to be offering a Heroes division!  We are inspired by the vehicle(s) we are choosing for our vehicle pull - details forthcoming.  

Event 1 Max One Side Loaded Deadlift

  • Wessel's Rule
  • Three total attempts allowed.
  • As Athlete stands on Deadlift platform to face the judge, the Deadlift bar will only be loaded from the right side.
  • Opening weight will be 70 lbs.  Weight increases for Women will be 10 lbs.  Once all Women have completed their lifts, weight increases will then be 20 lbs for the Men.
  • Allowed:  chalk, belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, and elbow sleeves.
  • Not allowed:  tacky, straps, liquid chalk, suits, and/or gloves.

Event 2 Dinnie Duck Walk Medley

  • This event will be for time.
  • Handles will be Rogue Dinnie Stone handles.
  • The first weight listed in the description is the first weight that will be carried.  The second weight listed will be the second weight that is carried.
  • On 3,2,1 go, athlete will pick up the first implement with both hands and Duck Walk 25 feet and set implement down once both feet have crossed the line.  Athlete will then pick up the second implement with both hands and duck walk it 25 feet back  to the starting line.  Athlete must be holding the implement as they cross the line with both feet.
  • Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete the event.  If the total distance is not traversed, Athletes will receive credit for the distance they did cover.
  • Allowed:  chalk, belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, and elbow sleeves.
  • Not allowed:  tacky, liquid chalk, suits, and/or gloves.

Event 3 Max Reps Keg over the Yoke

  • This event will be for max reps in 60 seconds.
  • Bar height will be approximately 45" for Women and approximately 50" for Men.
  • Athlete will start with hands on crossbar of the yoke.
  • One 3,2,1 go, Athletes will load their keg over the bar.
  • Athletes may not touch the yoke uprights as they load the keg over the bar
  • Allowed:  chalk, belt, grip shirts, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, and elbow sleeves.
  • Not allowed:  tacky, liquid chalk, suits, and/or grip shirts of non-United States Strongman Association.

Event 4 Log Clean & Press

  • This event will be for the fastest time to complete 5 reps at prescribed weight.
  • On 3, 2, 1 go, Athlete will clean and press the Titan Log.
  • Once Athlete has locked out knees, hips, elbows, and the feet are equal with one another, the Athlete will receive the "down" command.
  • The Athlete must then reasonably control the descent of the log to the floor.
  • Athletes will have 60 seconds to accomplish their 5 total reps.
  • Allowed:  chalk, belt, grip shirts, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, and elbow sleeves.
  • Not allowed:  tacky, liquid chalk, suits, and/or grip shirts of non-United States Strongman Association.

Event 5 Hand-over-hand Vehicle Pull

  • This event is for time.
  • Athlete will have 90 seconds to pull vehicle approximately 50' feet.
  • Athlete will be seated in a large tire to position themselves to pull the vehicle.
  • Event will be complete when front tire of vehicle has crossed the line.
  • Vehicle used to be determined.
  • Allowed:  chalk, belt, gloves, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, and elbow sleeves.
  • Not allowed:  tacky, liquid chalk, or suits.

*Event weights subject to change based on event testing.  

Weigh-ins:

  • Friday, October 17th, 6:30am-10:30am & 3pm-5pm
  • Saturday, October 18th, 7am-8:15am

Flow of Day

  • Opening Ceremony:  8:45am
  • Competition Start: 9:00am
  • Competition End:  approximately 1pm-2pm.

This is a 2026 United States Strongman Nationals qualifying event.
