World's Strongest Operator is the one and only Special Operations Forces strongman event in the world! Each competitor is hand selected and invited to come compete for the title of World's Strongest Operator and World's Strongest Tactical Professional! Every event is designed by the WSO tactical strength panel to highlight the unique physical attributes that SOF professionals posses to perform at the highest tactical level!
World's Strongest Operator started in 2021 to honor Combat Controller SSgt Dylan Elchin who was killed in action in Afghanistan November 27, 2018. The Deadlift for Dylan event will be in SSgt Elchin's honor. The Press for Cole event will be in honor of SSgt Cole Condiff.
Weigh in's time Friday April 4th at 4 pm until TBA at Dallas Market Center (email if you need travel accommodations)
Mandatory athlete Check in's will be Saturday April 5th at 7:30 am pre contest at Dallas Market Center
Rules meeting will follow at 8:00 am

Events
Event shirt must be worn on all events. Shoes must be worn on all events. No deadlift suits. No tacky. No grip shirts. Hard and soft belts allowed on all events. Straps allowed on deadlift but no other events. Strongman shorts allowed on all events. Weights and events subject to change.
- Deadlift For Dylan In Honor Of SSgt Dylan Elchin
The Deadlift For Dylan event will be max reps of conventional deadlift. The bar will be the Texas Deadlift Bar. Belt and straps (regular and figure 8) are allowed. Shoes must be worn. Belt, soft belt, and strongman shorts allowed. No deadlift suits. Each lifter will get one attempt. You will have 60 seconds to complete your attempt of max reps.The deadlift must be locked out and held until the head judge gives the down command each rep. The bar must be lowered. If the bar is dropped the lift will not count. If the bar is not locked out on judges command the lift will not count. If the reps are bounced they will not count and can be subtracted from score for each bounced rep. Men heavyweight vegas odds lifters choice- 585 = 3 points, 545 = 2 points, 495 = 1 point. Men lightweights- 495 = 3 points, 455 = 2 points, 405 = 1 point. Women heavyweight- 405 = 3 points, 365 = 2 points, 315 = 1 point. Women lightweight- 315 = 3 points, 275 = 2 points, 225 = 1 point.
- Press For Cole In Honor Of SSgt Cole Condiff
The Press For Cole event will max reps in 60 seconds of anything goes axle overhead press. The lift will be from blocks at chest height. The lifter will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible on the judges start whistle. The lifter must wait for the down command each rep. The bar must break below the lifters chin each rep. Failure to lockout or go low enough will result in zero of that rep. As for the competition weight there will be a Vegas odds choice for the lifter.  Men heavyweight vegas odds lifters choice- 275 = 3 points, 250 = 2 points, 225 = 1 point. Men lightweights- 250 = 3 points, 225 = 2 points, 200 = 1 point. Women heavyweight- 205 = 3 points, 185 = 2 points, 165 = 1 point. Women lightweight- 165 = 3 points, 145 = 2 points, 125 = 1 point. Anything goes to complete the rep, strict, push press, jerk, etc. You just have to gather your feet and center your stance to complete the repetition for point(s).
- Carry Heavy Sh*t Medley
The Carry Heavy Sh*t Medley will consist of two movements to mimic the different human carrying capacities of the high level operator and tactical professional. Carry one will be a wheelbarrow carry for 30 ft down (forwards) and back (backwards) (60 ft total). Carry two will be a keg carry 30 ft down and back (60 ft total). You will have 120 seconds to complete the event for max reps (each completion of each implement equals one point). No drops allowed. Drop and you are done on the event. Example of points, if you get 4 reps completed on the wheelbarrow and drop the keg on the third rep of the keg you will have a score of 7 points.
- Move The Mountain
The Move The Mountain Max Reps Max Weight will consist of as many 50 ft down and back (100 ft total) reps as possible in 120 seconds.This event is the ultimate test of leg and lung endurance as well as intestinal fortitude. Every rep you will push the sled 50 ft down 50 ft back AND THEN add 90 lbs. You will repeat this until the clock stops. The final score will be your final sled weight of your completed rep that you cross the finish line with.
