Equipment Allowed: Sleeves, wraps, 2 belts(one soft+one hard), gloves, and chalk.
Equipment Not Allowed: Suits, briefs, tacky, and/or anything like tacky that leaves a residue
60 sec time limit for all events except the sandbag toss
1) Axle Press Away
May start with your hands on the axle. On command you must clean and press the axle overhead until: feet parallel, knees and elbows locked, head through, and a down command is given. Belt cleans are fine. The bar must be lower than the chin prior to each press. All types of presses(strict, push, jerk, split) not off your head are allowed.
2) Car Squat
Must begin with the barbell racked no lower than an inch below the spine of the scapula. On command you will begin the lifting from the bottom position until knees are locked and a down command is given. There will be up and down commands required for each of the following reps.
3) Max Sandbag Toss
May begin with a grip on the sandbag. Competitors will have 30 sec to throw the sandbag over a 15 foot bar with one arm. There are no limits to number of reasonable attempts in 30 sec.
4) Farmers Walk
May start with hands on the farmers. On command competitors will lift the farmers and carry them 50ft until the front of the handles cross the line. One drop is permitted. 5 sec penalty for an early start or an excessive slide. A distance will be taken if the course is not completed.
5) Loading Medley
Athletes must start with their hands on the bar. On command they must lift as many implements over the bar as fast as possible. May wear forearm protection and/or gloves. Bar will be set at 44 in for: novice, teens, and women. Bar will be set at 48 in for everyone else.
