Hey all. I’m a good operator but a terrible writer. Every room I design myself ends up with plot holes and puzzles that don’t connect. Are there companies that sell proven escape room scenarios, with tested puzzles and flow, so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel? I have one room open already, but the reviews mention the story feels disjointed.

Ha, same here, I can run a business, but my storylines were a mess. Worth looking at escape room scenarios for sale https://erworkshop.com/escapes/ from Indestroom. Their games come with a tested scenario, puzzle flow and hint structure, developed and played through by their team before shipping. We bought a detective-themed room, and the difference in flow was obvious, no dead ends, fewer groups stuck at the same spot. Players rate the story highly. Honest caveat: a proven scenario isn’t unique to you, other venues in the world may run the same game, so check there’s no competitor nearby with it. Tip: add small local touches or Easter eggs to make it feel yours.
