Welcome back to The Inferno II. Texas Iron Republic is teaming up with 48str8 for the 2nd annual Strongman competition dedicated to Fire Fighters and First responders! This event is a benefit for Patty Corthell. Patty was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer, her and her Husband Jason are President and VP of Guardian Grounds which is a non profit for Firefighters and First Responders. Jason is also Division Chief at Cypress Creek Fire Department. This will be a festival like event with vendors, food trucks, beer, family games, bounce house and more! Come and join us for a great day of family fun and Strongman!

This event will start at 8am! 

Weigh ins at Texas Iron Republic - Friday Nov. 14th 9am - 9pm 

Fire Truck Pull 50ft 

Athletes will be attached to the truck with a Spud Inc harness. Athletes will start with rope at full tension and given a start command then athlete will begin pulling the truck. Athlete will have 60 seconds to pull the truck 50 ft. 

***Booster is a smaller fire truck (F550)

Equipment allowed - Chalk, climbing shoes, Mouthpiece, elbow/knee sleeves.

Equipment not allowed - Tacky

Head to Head 13" Axel Deadlift 

Athletes will start by holding the deadlift bar, on the start command athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. There will be down commands but only 1 up command at the start. 

Equipment allowed - Chalk, straps, figure 8s, 1 soft belt, 1 hard belt, mouth piece, deadlift shoes, no shoes. 

Equipment not allowed - Tacky, 2 hard belts. Deadlift suit.

Conan's Wheel

Athletes will start on Conan wheel with arms in place. Athletes will then Zercher pick the Conan wheel and walk as far as possible. Athletes will have a 60 second time limit. There will be no drops allowed. Time will stop if Conan is dropped. 

Equipment allowed - Chalk, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, 1 hard belt, 1 soft belt, mouth piece.

Equipment not allowed - 2 hard belts. Bare feet 

Inferno II Medley 

There will be 4 implements, fire hydrant, sandbag, sled, and yoke. Athletes will have to move 4 implements with a 90 second time cap. Athletes will start by running fire hydrant to a sled, then back to get the sandbag to put in the sled, then they will pull the sled back down to the yoke, once sled is passed the yoke the athlete will take yoke down to the finish. Time will stop once any part of the yoke is passed finish line. 

Equipment allowed - Chalk, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, 1 hard belt, 1 soft belt, mouth piece.

Equipment not allowed - 2 hard belts. Bare feet.
