Justin Martin Memorial Competition

This is a Memorial Partner Competition for our friend Officer Justin Martin. There are Scaled, Intermediate and Rx divisions for both men and women. Teams will be made up of 2 men or 2 women.

Justin Martin was a member of the CrossFit Des Moines community. He was a constant presence in the 4:15 p.m. class at the Urbandale location. All accounts of Justin will tell you that he was a kind, quiet and hard-working man. He had a way of exuding positivity. That energy helped inspire and set the tone for many of the members that trained with Justin.
Justin was one of the police officers killed in shootings on the morning of 11/2/16. Justin was one of the most straitlaced individuals we knew. It was something we appreciated about him greatly. He was proud to be an officer and the CrossFit Des Moines community and we were not only thankful for his service but also proud to call him one of our own.
