USS Battle at Sparta

COVID 19 Precautions will be taken

COVID exposure  questions to be asked of all athletes prior to competing

 

Divisions:

LW Men (181 and under)

MW Men (198/220)

HW Men (242+)

LW Women (132 and under)

MW Women (148/165)

HW Women (181+)

LW and HW Novice Men (all weights)

LW and HW Novice Women (all weights)

LW and HW Teens Men and Women

Masters Men and Women

*Classes will be combined / separated if less / more than 5 participants per class sign up*

 

Spectators will pay a $10 fee except for small children

 

Axle Clean and Press Each rep

-60s limit, clean and press each rep, most reps wins, ties possible

 

Max Log Press Wessels Rule

-30s limit per attempt, 3 attempts, done once you miss, ties possible, 10" log women and 12" log men

 

Max Deadlift Wessels Rule

-30s limit per attempt, 3 attempts, done once you miss, ties possible, deadlift bar, suits and straps allowed

 

Carry Medley

-75s limit, carry yoke 25 feet, run back then carry keg and load over yoke, run back then carry sandbag and load over yoke, run back then carry stone and load over yoke, fastest time wins, total distance taken if not complete, implement spacing may be closer than 25 feet - TBD after testing

 

Husafel for Max Distance with 50ft turns

-60s limit, max distance, turns at 50ft, no walking backwards, once you drop you are done, farthest distance wins

 

NO TACKY ON ANYTHING

 

This is a great show to qualify for 2022 USS NATIONALS in June in New Hampshire !

 

The venue is indoors & outdoors and is new!
