The USA Fit Games was cancelled due to an illness within the USA Fit Games family. I moved that comp to run in conjuction with my Heart of Texas USA powerlifting meet at the Gatesville Civic Center, Gatesville, Tx. 

National Qualifier for 2026

Weigh Ins: April 25th 12pm to 7pm and day of weigh ins at 8am @ Civic Center 

Start Time: 10am 

There will be a kids division again. Be on the look out for their sign up

Spectator entry  - $10

The Masters men and women single class is for NOVICE Masters to sign up. This is for masters who have never competed before. Please call me if there is any question

Event #1 - Axle Clean and Press State Record 

Athlete may start with hands on the Axle.  Clean the Axle to chest and complete the press. 3 attempts, miss an attempt and the athlete is done.  Athlete must receive a down command for the rep to count.  Athlete may rest the bar on their belt. Rising bar with 5 lb or more jumps for women and 10 lb or more jumps for men. 

Allowed - hard and soft belt, wrist wraps, elbow and knee sleeves, grip shirt, chalk

Not allowed - suits, elbow or knee wraps, straps, tacky of any kind

Event #2 – 18" Standard bar Deadlift  State Record 

Athlete may start strapped in. 3 attempts, miss an attempt, and the athlete is done. 60 sec time limit for each attempt, will be progressively loaded, 10lb jumps for women and 20lbs for men. Can call the number when breaking a record, still one of the 3 attempts. Athelete must stand up straight, knees locked, hips through,  ramping, hitching, up and down movement allowed, and Athlete must wait for the down command for the rep to count. 

Items allowed: wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, chalk, belts, suits, briefs, straps, figure 8s 

Not allowed: elbow wraps, tacky of any kind, gloves, chest strap, baby powder, or sumo, hooks 

Event #3 - Seated Truck Pull 

Athlete will start with rope tight and pull until bumper comes to the line. Will be seated in a tire. 

Items allowed: gloves, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, 1 soft belt, and or 1 hard belt, shoes must be worn at all times 

Items not allowed: tacky of any kind 

Event #4 - 2" Double Handed T Bar Hold 

Athlete will stand on blocks, deadlift the T bar, and hold for as long as possible. Hands can touch legs, legs can have only a slight bend, judge will warn athlete if knees are bent to much only once.. if warned again time will stop 

Items allowed:  wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, 1 soft belt, and or 1 hard belt, 

Items not allowed: tacky of any kind or straps

Event #5 - Wheel of Pain 60 seconds 

Athlete will push a telephone pole around the top of a spindle with a sled of weight attached to the pole. Athlete will push for distance with in 60 seconds. 

Items allowed: The strength of 7 brothers, the will of the gods, the desire to crush your enemy 

Items not allowed: puking, dying, crying, quitting
