Choose one press event (axle/circus dumbbell), one deadlift event (silver dollar/axle deadlift), and one traditional strongman event (atlas stone over bar/sandbag to shoulder). Please fill the below form when you sign up letting me know which events you are participating in:
https://forms.gle/EPXvZhNX2NzfonLu7
If you are an adaptive athlete, let me know how I can best accommodate you. I will use events and event rules similar to those already established in Static Monsters / Strongest Adaptive on Earth but please let me know if you have any further suggestions to make for events!
For each event you have a 60 second clock to complete your attempt (adaptive athletes may receive extra time). 3 attempts, with Wessels Rules in effect (miss and you are out). It is TBD if I am using Wessells rules for adaptive divisions (probably not but TBD). 2 lanes will run simultaneously with rising weight each lane. Lane assignments are TBD depending on signups.
This event is limited to 60 athletes. Registration is open for previous volunteers only until 05/17, then it will be open to the public after 05/17.
Due to the record breaker format we will not be doing traditional 1st-3rd awards but all athletes will receive a T-shirt and keepsake ornament.
!! There will be a cash prize for heaviest male and female atlas stone load and sandbag to shoulder! You must complete the two other events to be eligible for the cash prize. !!

Athlete will be seated in an incline bench set at 50°-55°, and then lap the sandbag. If preferred, athlete may start with sandbag on their lap (not from a box). You may lean back on the bench to shoulder the bag but must sit up at 90° then remove the opposing hand off the bag to show control for a good call.
